How to change the Boot Order in the Bios
This video will show you how to change the boot order in the bios so you are able to run removable media, like CDs and USB Flash Drives, at boot-up. This is required for programs like the Hiren's BootCD and some antivirus software which can only be run at boot-up to make use of its utilities.
This is a video response to a comment that was left on one of my videos. Every type of bios will be slightly different, but the fundamental settings that have to be changed will be the same, they might just be located in a slightly different place to that shown in this video. You must change the 'First Boot Device' to 'CDROM' and the 'Second Boot Device to 'Hard Disk'. One must essentially swap Hard Disk and CDROM around if your bios is currently set to default settings. After changing this, the computer will attempt to boot from a CDROM before booting to the hard disk (your operating system) allowing you to run the Hiren's BootCD, and any other removable media for that matter, at boot-up. If there is no CDROM in the CD Drive, your computer will simply boot from the hard drive as normal.
