How to unlock Hidden Themes in Windows 7

This video will show you how to unlock and use the five hidden themes in Windows 7. This can only be done in Windows 7, no other versions of Windows.

Before we can view, unlock and use the five hidden themes in Windows 7, we must activate hidden files and folders in Windows explorer. To do this, open Windows explorer ('Start'>'Computer' for example) and left-click 'Organize' in the top left. Then select 'Folder and search Options' from the drop down menu that appears and select the view tab. Finally, put a dot in the radio button next to 'Show hidden files, folders and drives'. Press 'Apply' and then 'OK'.

After you have activated hidden files and folders, copy (Ctrl + C) and paste (Ctrl + V) this file location into the Windows Explorer address bar (at the top of the 'Computer' Window for example):
\Windows\Globalization\MCT\

Double-click one of the five folders. Each folder has a theme that you can activate and use. Then double-click the 'Theme' folder and then double-click the (theme name).theme file (AU.theme for example) to activate it. Repeat this process for each folder to unlock all five themes. Each theme will be placed under the 'My Themes' subheading so you can easily use it again in the future. Note that if you want to return to your old theme, select the 'Unsaved Theme' under the 'My Themes' subheading or, if you have previously saved your theme under a different name, you can simply select it again.
